Somewhere among the Captain’s Crew is the first Iron Coast Quartermaster. When that person is selected, we aren’t pulling a watch from inventory. We’re building one for them.
What is the Quartermaster’s Commission?
On November 3, one eligible member of the Iron Coast community will be randomly selected as our first Quartermaster.
What happens next is something we’ve never done.
The Quartermaster will work directly with Iron Coast to commission a one-of-one automatic timepiece built specifically for them.
Diver. GMT. Dress watch. Something smaller. Something we haven't built before. The final watch will be developed around a Japanese NH automatic platform, but its direction belongs to the Quartermaster.

Your Watch Hasn't Been Built.
The selected Quartermaster will work directly with Iron Coast to determine the direction of their commissioned timepiece — case, movement configuration, dial, hands, bezel where applicable, strap or bracelet, engraving and other compatible details.
We don't know what we'll build.
